Description
HPE Aruba Networking 610 Series Campus Access Points are designed to take advantage of the 6 GHz band and achieve up to a combined maximum 3.6 Gbps data rate for higher throughput and faster speeds indoors. Adding support for the 6 GHz band increases capacity by up to 1200 MHz with more 80/160 MHz channels to support growing demands due to bandwidth-hungry video, growth in client and Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and expanded use of the cloud. The compact and cost-effective 610 series features dual radios that can be tuned to any two of the three spectrum bands for Wi-Fi: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz. Full tri-band coverage is available in a multi-access point deployment. Built-in GPS receivers and fine time measurements enable the 610 series to automatically locate themselves and serve as reference points for accurate indoor location measurements. The 610 series includes a limited lifetime warranty.
What is new supporting point:It is offered as optional eco-friendly 10-pack
Built-in GPS receivers and fine time measurement allow APs to automatically locate themselves and serve as reference points for accurate indoor location measurements
Low power consumption enables unrestricted operation from an 802.3af (Class 3) PoE source [1]
Software programable, dual-radio operating modes deliver cost-effective coverage across any two of the three Wi-Fi 6E bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz with full tri-band coverage in multi-AP deployments
The 610 series provides up to seven 160 MHz channels in 6 GHz support low-latency, bandwidth-hungry applications such as high-definition video and augmented reality/virtual reality applications
Unlock the 6 GHz band to deliver up to 1200 MHz additional capacity and up to 3.6 Gbps combined peak datarate

Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a low-power radio technology developed to replace the cables and wires currently used to link or connect electronic devices such as personal computers, printers, and a wide variety of handheld devices including mobile phones. Because it uses radio-wave connectivity, a Bluetooth-enabled device has a constant, established connection to whatever browser it uses. This saves the user the trouble of logging on to check for emails or news updates, for example.
Bluetooth version
The type of bluetooth technology in the product e.g. Bluetooth Smart (v4.0).
5.0
Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
MIMO
Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
Security
Security algorithms
Security algorithms are used to provide authentication, cipher key generation, integrity and radio link privacy to users on mobile networks. The security algorithms supported are the ones that can be used with this product.
WPA, WPA2, WPA3, WPA3-SAE
Ports & interfaces
Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports
Number of Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports (connecting interfaces) in the device. Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports allow a computer to connect to the ethernet.
1
USB 2.0 ports quantity
Number of USB 2.0 ports (connecting interfaces) in the device. USB 2.0 was released in April 2000 (now called "Hi-Speed"), adding higher maximum signaling rate of 480 Mbit/s (effective throughput up to 35 MB/s or 280 Mbit/s), USB 2.0 ports are usually black.
1
Power
Power over Ethernet (PoE)
The device supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), which is one of several standardized or ad-hoc systems which pass electrical power along with data on Ethernet cabling. This allows a single cable to provide both data connection and electrical power to devices such as wireless access points or IP cameras.
Design

Cable lock slot
Holes on the edge of devices through which a cable lock can be passed, so the device can be locked to a desk etc.
Design
Cable lock slot type
Kensington
Antenna
Antenna type
Type of antenna, also known an aerial, e.g. external, internal.
Internal
Antenna direction type
Omni-directional
Antenna gain level (max)
Antenna gain is the measurement of an antenna's ability to amplify the incoming microwave signals in a particular direction, compared with the sensitivity of an isotropic antenna in any direction, or a dipole antenna in the equatorial direction.
