Description
HPE Aruba Networking 630 Series Campus Access Points are designed to take advantage of the 6 GHz band using three radios for comprehensive tri-band coverage. With 6 GHz, wireless capacity is more than doubled, allowing enterprises to meet needs today and plan for future growth. The Wi-Fi 6E APs allow countries to take advantage of Wi-Fi 6E once it is approved in country through automated notification and easy deployment of 6 GHz regulatory tables. The 630 series delivers a maximum aggregate 3.9 Gbps data rate for higher throughput and faster speeds for fixed low power indoor (LPI) use. With up to seven 160 MHz channels, the 630 series increases performance for low-latency, bandwidth-hungry applications. The ultra tri-band (UTB) filtering eliminates interference between 5 GHz and 6 GHz and prevents gaps in channel coverage. To ensure high availability, the 630 series includes dual port hitless failover for Ethernet and power.
What is new supporting point:Three radios to extend the benefits of Wi-Fi 6E to the 6 GHz band accessing up to 1200 MHz of spectrum
Automated notification and easy deployment of 6 GHz regulatory tables to allow countries to take advantage of Wi-Fi 6E, once it is approved in the country
Unique filtering capabilities to mitigate gaps in coverage and help minimize interference between the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands
High availability with hitless failover for Ethernet and power to help ensure business continuity
Wider channels and less interference to deliver faster speeds for low-latency, bandwidth-hungry applications like high-definition video and augmented reality / virtual reality

Maximum data transfer rate
The maximum speed with which data can be transmitted from one device to another.
2400 Mbit/s
Ethernet LAN data rates
The different speed levels of the Ethernet LAN connection.
0, 1000, 2500 Mbit/s
Frequency band
A small section of the spectrum of radio communication frequencies, in which channels are usually used or set aside for the same purpose e.g.for a channel on FM radio; for mobile networks to communicate with mobile phones.
2.4/5/6 GHz
Networking standards
The way in which the network is working, e.g. IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g.
IEEE 802.11ax, IEEE 802.15.4
Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a low-power radio technology developed to replace the cables and wires currently used to link or connect electronic devices such as personal computers, printers, and a wide variety of handheld devices including mobile phones. Because it uses radio-wave connectivity, a Bluetooth-enabled device has a constant, established connection to whatever browser it uses. This saves the user the trouble of logging on to check for emails or news updates, for example.
Bluetooth version
The type of bluetooth technology in the product e.g. Bluetooth Smart (v4.0).

Modulation
Modulation is the process of varying one or more properties of a periodic waveform, called the carrier signal (High Frequency Signal), with a modulating signal which typically contains information to be transmitted. The aim of digital modulation is to transfer a digital bit stream over an analog bandpass channel, for example over the public switched telephone network (where a bandpass filter limits the frequency range to between 300 and 3400 Hz), or over a limited radio frequency band. The aim of analog modulation is to transfer an analog baseband (or lowpass) signal, for example an audio signal or TV signal, over an analog bandpass channel at a different frequency, for example over a limited radio frequency band or a cable TV network channel.
-QAM, 64-QAM, 256-QAM, 1024-QAM, BPSK, CCK, QPSK
GPS (satellite)
Global Positioning System (GPS) is a space-based satellite navigation system that provides location and time information in all weather conditions, anywhere on or near the Earth where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites. The system provides critical capabilities to military, civil and commercial users around the world. It is maintained by the United States government and is freely accessible to anyone with a GPS receiver.

Security
Security algorithms
Security algorithms are used to provide authentication, cipher key generation, integrity and radio link privacy to users on mobile networks. The security algorithms supported are the ones that can be used with this product.
WPA, WPA2, WPA3
Ports & interfaces
Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports
Number of Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports (connecting interfaces) in the device. Ethernet LAN (RJ-45) ports allow a computer to connect to the ethernet.
2
USB 2.0 ports quantity
Number of USB 2.0 ports (connecting interfaces) in the device. USB 2.0 was released in April 2000 (now called "Hi-Speed"), adding higher maximum signaling rate of 480 Mbit/s (effective throughput up to 35 MB/s or 280 Mbit/s), USB 2.0 ports are usually black.
1
Power
Power over Ethernet (PoE)
The device supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), which is one of several standardized or ad-hoc systems which pass electrical power along with data on Ethernet cabling. This allows a single cable to provide both data connection and electrical power to devices such as wireless access points or IP cameras.
