Cablenet OM3 50/125 LC-ST Duplex Fibre Patch Leads are engineered for high-speed optical transmission in demanding network environments such as data centres, enterprise backbones, and SAN infrastructure. Constructed with laser-optimised OM3 multimode fibre, they provide enhanced modal bandwidth and lower attenuation compared to traditional multimode fibre, supporting 1Gb/s, 10Gb/s, and higher-bandwidth Ethernet protocols over distances up to 300 metres at 850nm wavelength. These patch leads ensure low insertion loss and reliable performance, making them an excellent choice for environments where uptime and signal clarity are paramount.

Each assembly is pre-terminated with LC and ST connectors, both fitted with zirconia ceramic ferrules to ensure precise alignment and consistent signal quality. The LC connector offers a compact, high-density interface, while the ST connector provides a rugged bayonet-style locking mechanism widely used in legacy and industrial systems. A durable 3.0mm orange LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath provides compliance with fire safety standards in enclosed or public spaces, while moulded strain relief boots add mechanical reliability. Every patch lead undergoes factory insertion and return loss testing and is supplied with individual test results. Non-stocked configurations can be manufactured to meet specific project requirements, including alternative lengths, connector types, or sheath colours.
