The selectable dual-band AC1200 adapter is compatible with today�s electronics, and when synced with a Wireless-AC router, provides up to 867 Mbps* data transfer rates on the 4 GHz band or up to 300 Mbps* on the 2.4 GHz band. It is also USB 3.0 capable, and will perform up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 when plugged into a USB 3.0 port. Why Wireless-AC?
Wireless-AC is engineered to move more data faster�up to three times faster than Wireless-N. Faster data rates are achieved by using higher modulation (256- QAM for AC vs. 64-QAM for N) that allows much more data to be transmitted within the same time period.
