Power Distribution 230 V
Varistor protection is RAB-PD-X07-A1, RAB-PD-X08-A1 and RAB-PD-X51-X1 used in power distribution panels as 4th step of overvoltage protection in compliance with appropriate norm, accordingly as a protection placed right in front of the device and eliminating the remanent voltage, which the previous steps of house wiring surge protection didn`t manage to break off. Installed surge protection is in form of detachable block, that can discharge the pulse overvoltage, which endangers the connected devices, into a protective earth conductor. Therefore it operates only on so-called three wire distribution system with yellow-green protective conductor. If the overvolage is really big, the surge protection module would get damaged and the control green light on the module would switch off. The power distrubution panel would be still working, however not protecting against the overvolate any more and it is necessary to change the surge protection module.
