The Cablenet USB 3.1c Gen2 Hybrid Active Optical Cable (AOC) is a long-reach USB-C to USB-C lead that carries high-speed data, DisplayPort video on supported hosts and displays, and negotiated power in a single run. A fibre-and-copper hybrid construction shifts the fast lanes to optical fibre, maintaining signal integrity over extended distances and resisting EMI/RFI found around racks, production equipment and dense cable bundles. The link supports USB 3.1 Gen2 at up to 10Gbps and also passes USB 2.0 for legacy devices. With DisplayPort 1.4 Alternate Mode it can deliver video up to 8K at 60Hz where both endpoints support DP Alt Mode. Slimmer and lighter than copper-only long leads, it overcomes typical distance limits for neat, reliable installations in AV, control and enterprise environments. Available in 5m, 7.5m and 10m lengths.

Built to Cablenet---s professional standard, the assembly uses precision-moulded USB-C connectors with integrated strain relief and gold-plated contacts for consistent mating and corrosion resistance.
