The Cablenet Cat6a F/FTP 4 pair shielded cable delivers Cat6a standards compliant performance and supports high speed data transmission up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet. It is fully backward compatible with earlier cabling categories, ensuring support for all IP-based applications designed to operate over them. The F/FTP construction uses eight colour coded 23AWG solid copper conductors twisted into four pairs, each individually foil shielded and surrounded by an overall foil screen. This design eliminates the need for a central plastic separator, improving flexibility and making the cable easier to route through trunking and conduit. The individual pair shielding provides excellent NEXT and alien crosstalk suppression while maintaining consistent impedance and signal integrity across the link, delivering reliable performance for data, voice, and video applications.

The 7.5 mm overall diameter enables tighter bend radii and allows more cables to be installed in limited containment space compared to bulkier F/UTP designs. Supplied in a 305 m reel-in-box, it can be deployed quickly without axle stands, with printed metre markings from 305 m down to 1 m for easy measurement and stock control. The cable features a low smoke zero halogen Ice Blue jacket manufactured to IEC 60332-1 and rated B2ca-s1a,d1,a1 under CPR, offering flame retardance and low smoke emission for safe installation in public and commercial buildings.
