One scanner can now accept multiple power sources. Available with a battery-free supercapacitor or standard lithium-ion battery, both power options are also available in contactless orientations. The battery-free technology runs on supercapacitors versus a battery and is capable of achieving a full charge in less than four minutes via the USB Port (under 60 seconds when using a powered USB port or external wall adapter). The Xenon Ultra 1962h scanner typically provides at least 450 scans of UPC/EAN Codes without recharging. This makes the scanner ideal for scanning applications at the bedside such as medicines administration or specimen collection.
